Once in Paros, we are supposed to get transfer to the hotel, but nobody waits for us. I call the hotel and they say someone is at the port to wait for us. There are less and less people on the port and we don't see anyone with a signboard saying "Hotel Galini". I call again after a while and they say they did not see us. At last, someone is coming....
No good start with this hotel... We find the welcome not being very genuine. It is a family run business and there is something we don't like about their attitude. They seem to be friendly, but we feel they are not. It is a bit strange. The room is quite nice though, so there is nothing to complain about on that side. And it is very conveniently situated, at the end of the port and near the beach. Still, I won't recommend the hotel.
I am having a walk on my own in the old part of the city, the Kastro, so truly beautiful.
