Un dernier tour sur le port pour dire au revoir aux 3 pélicans. Ils sont installés sur leur place favorite, en plein lissage de plumes.

Nous prenons le Seajet pour Paros à 10 h et 40 minutes plus tard, nous voilà à Parikia, capitale de Paros. Le transfert vers l'hébergement est offert et nous sommes bien attendus. Ce n'est pas très loin à vrai dire, le Sirocos est situé juste à la périphérie de la ville, ce qui devrait signifier que c'est plutôt au calme.
Nous commençons notre balade vers le port et dans la ville, c'est magnifique.

Il fait très chaud à Paros et les rues à l'ombre sont très appréciées.

Il y a beaucoup de passages voutés, ce qui ajoute au charme de la ville.

A last stroll by the port to say bye bye to the pelicans. The 3 of them are on their favourite square, like posing for us.

We take the 10 am Seajet to Paros. Price: 13 €40 minutes later, we arrive in Paros Parikia, the main town of the island. We get transfer to our accomodation, Sirocos. The place is a bit outside of the city, but actually only 15 minutes walk from the city centre. It is a quiet spot. There are quite a few rooms there, there is even a swimming-pool. Our room is fairly large and has a big private terrace.
We start our stroll by the seaside, port and in the city.
Paros also has a few windmills.
The streets of Parikia are beautiful, the main colours being white and blue.
Lots of flowers and plants everywhere.
The churches are also in white and blue.

The whole island has a population of almost 13.000 inhabitants.

Of course, the price depends on the season, May is still low or medium season on most islands.
In July and August, it can be 3 times higher!
